Job Overview

The Business Development Manager plays a vital role in overseeing and managing the operations of an entire division within the company. This position requires a blend of strategic oversight, operational management, and leadership of people. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring that their division meets all financial, operational, and strategic goals. This role demands a high level of expertise in managing diverse teams, setting and tracking performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Whether you are guiding daily operations, making high-level strategic decisions, or liaising between departments, the Business Development Manager ensures that each project aligns with the company's long-term mission and vision.

Responsibilities & Duties

* Develop and implement strategic plans for the division.
* Monitor and manage the financial performance of the division.
* Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Set performance goals and objectives for the division.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with company goals.
* Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
* Manage budget and allocate resources effectively.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Evaluate and report on division performance to senior management.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the division.
* Resolve issues and conflicts that arise within the division.

Qualifications & Skills

* Previous experience in a managerial role.
* Proven track record of successful team leadership.
* Experience with financial management and budgeting.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in strategic planning and execution.
* Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Hands-on approach to all tasks.
