Senior HR Executive (Maternity Cover) Cork
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior HR Executive to lead the day-to-day HR function for a leading retail business during a maternity leave period.
This standalone role is supported by a HR Assistant and reports directly to the Managing Director. You will provide full-spectrum HR support across both head office and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead HR operations and advise senior leadership on strategy and compliance
* Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and performance issues
* Ensure compliance with Irish and NI employment legislation
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and contract management
* Support managers with reviews, training, and retention plans
* Maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant records and manage HR systems (e.g. Bizimply)
* Coordinate training and employee development activity
* Promote employee wellbeing, culture, and engagement initiatives
* This is a Mon-Fri office based role.
