Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Kilkenny City
Full time permanent, hybrid
Salary: €50-€65k DOE, healthcare, pension, educational support.

Opportunity in Kilkenny City for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a range of projects within an ever growing and successful multi-disciplinary business.
Requirements / Education
Degree / Diploma in Building Services engineering or Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years post-qualification design experience.
Excellent knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
Experience with design software: AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit.
Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, British Standards and Health & Safety Regulations.
Duties / Responsibilities
Lead projects from a Mechanical Design perspective.
Preparation of design specifications for HVAC, Water Services, Wastes, Gas etc.
Ensuring that all designs and documents are prepared to the highest standards.
Produce project budget estimates.
Compiling project reports.
Conceptual design studies and reports.
Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team.
Working closely with senior management and the opportunity to work on projects up to €200m+ in value, the successful individual will be offered professional assistance to develop their career with an emphasis on work / life balance within a supporting team environment.
