Adventure Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to head our Adventure Team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop new strategies and systems for safe, successful, and profitable operations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the Adventure team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
* Oversee the development of high-quality content and delivery standards.
* Provide expert instruction in specialist areas relevant to outdoor activities.
* Support affiliated adventure projects and opportunities.
* Plan and deliver programmes of outdoor activities for guests.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, equipment maintenance, and guest safety procedures.
* Purchase, maintain, and prepare activity equipment.
* Manage financial aspects, including projections, costing, and invoicing.
* Maintain incident and safety records, maintenance logs, and Adventure team records/training and PPE safety logs.
Requirements:
* Qualifications and experience in multiple outdoor activities, including at least two full and relevant instructorships.
* Up-to-date First Aid certification.
* Previous leadership experience in a similar business or industry.
* Desirable: A 3rd-level Qualification in a related subject such as business management, outdoor education, leadership, recreation, or sports-related course.
