ICARE Ltd is a parent-founded, community-based charity that has supported autistic individuals and their families across Inishowen since 2000. From afterschool clubs to teenage support programmes and a full-time adult day service, we provide life-changing, person centred care for individuals and families at every stage. We are now entering a new phase of growth, guided by our Strategic Plan 2026–2031, which sets out ambitious goals for service expansion, improved infrastructure, and long-term sustainability. To lead us on this journey, we are recruiting a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The CEO will play a vital leadership role in delivering on our strategy and mission. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee day-to-day operations, lead a passionate team, manage finances and fundraising efforts, and represent iCARE at local and national level.
We are looking for someone who brings energy, empathy, and a proven ability to lead and grow a values-based organisation. You'll be a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and a champion for inclusion and community.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Organisational Leadership:
* Lead the implementation of the iCARE Strategic Plan 2026–2031, including annual reviews and outcome tracking.
* Translate strategic goals into service delivery actions with measurable results.
* Maintain alignment between services, mission, and community need.
2. People Leadership & Change Management:
* Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including programme, admin, and outreach staff.
* Build a high-performance, inclusive, and compassionate work culture.
* Oversee hiring, onboarding, development, and performance reviews.
* Drive change with a clear, collaborative, and supportive approach.
3. Service Delivery & Innovation:
* Ensure high-quality, person-centred services are delivered across all programmes.
* Develop new services and innovations aligned with community needs and strategic goals.
* Ensure compliance with the New Directions framework and related national policies.
4. Governance & Board Engagement:
* Act as primary liaison to the Board of Directors.
* Attend all board meetings and support Finance, Governance, and Strategy subcommittees.
* Ensure organisational compliance with Irish charity law, the Charities Governance Code, GDPR, and funder regulations.
5. Financial Management & Development:
* Oversee financial operations and reporting in partnership with the Finance function.
* Identify new income streams, build funding partnerships, and steward grants.
* Ensure funds are managed transparently and efficiently.
6. Community & Stakeholder Engagement:
* Represent iCARE to government, funders, media, and the wider public.
* Build relationships with families, schools, employers, health professionals, and advocacy groups.
* Lead campaigns to raise awareness and promote inclusion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €50,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
