QC Lab Assistant - Cork We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Assistant to support the daily operations of the QC laboratory as required by Good Manufacturing practices (GMPs).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct routine cleaning and sanitization of laboratory equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform scheduled maintenance activities on laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
Document all cleaning and maintenance activities accurately in logs and reports.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, GDP).
Support laboratory personnel with general housekeeping tasks as needed.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Analytical instrument qualification, as required.
Qualifications & Skills: Completed Ordinary Bachelors Degree in a Scientific discipline Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good understanding of laboratory safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs.
Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
Maintain a focus on patients and customers at all times.
