Senior Sous Chef Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to lead our kitchen operations.
This key role is responsible for overseeing the kitchen areas and personnel, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. You will work closely with senior management to coordinate staff scheduling, labour costs, and assist with recruitment and staff performance evaluation.
* Prioritize, organize, and delegate tasks effectively
* Oversee staff performance and provide constructive feedback when required
* Develop and implement new menu concepts to meet customer demands and preferences
You will foster positive relationships with suppliers, service providers, and other departments. You will work with senior management to ensure that HACCP protocols are implemented efficiently, and all relevant regulations are met.
Able to operate and maintain all kitchen equipment and manage maintenance requests promptly. Oversee the onboarding and training process for new hires and develop an ongoing training program for existing staff.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector in Ireland is preferred. Candidates must have ongoing experience in high-volume production and service kitchens.
