About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager to lead and manage a team of dynamic field sales representatives across Ireland.
Our client is a market leader in its sector, recognized for excellence in distribution and retail services.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving sales, achieving targets, and ensuring the commercial success of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field sales representatives nationwide
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing guidance and support to the team
Maintain strong relationships with key clients and retail partners
Oversee distribution operations, ensuring seamless product availability across the network
Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion
Collaborate closely with senior management to align sales strategies with business objectives
Report on sales performance, KPIs, and market insights to senior leadership
Travel nationwide to support and motivate the sales team
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a Commercial Manager, Sales Manager, or similar leadership role
Background in distribution, retail, or FMCG industries is highly advantageous
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a remote field sales team
Commercially minded with a track record of achieving sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly motivated, hands-on, and target-driven
Willingness to travel across Ireland as required
Full clean driving license
