My Client is seeking an experienced
Audit and Accounts Director
to lead their audit and accounting department, drive business growth, and provide strategic direction.
This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing audits and financial reporting, and developing the team's capabilities.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the audit and accounts team to ensure quality service delivery.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic financial advice.
Oversee audit assignments, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Drive business development and identify new growth opportunities.
Monitor departmental performance and manage resources effectively.
Represent the firm in external forums and industry events.
Qualifications and Experience
ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
5-10 years PQE in a similar role
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, IFRS, and Irish GAAP.
Proven client management skills and experience leading teams.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
