Role Overview The Finance Manager / Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations within the accounts department and providing support to external accountants and auditors.
This is a key role within the company requiring a high level of autonomy, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
Key Responsibilities Full ledger management Monthly end-to-end accounts including accruals, prepayments, and inter-company charges Bank reconciliations and cash flow planning Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and tax authorities Ensuring compliance with all Revenue requirements (RCT, VAT, PAYE) Preparing management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Project costing, review, and financial forecasting Supporting audits and year-end financial statements Investigating discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy Cross-departmental collaboration Requirements Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), experienced Accounting Technician, or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role within Ireland Technical Skills: Proficiency with Sage 50 (essential) Working knowledge of Bright Pay payroll (advantageous) Familiarity with Irish Revenue systems Advanced MS Excel skills and general IT proficiency Personal Attributes: Strong analytical and numerical skills High attention to detail Organised and systematic approach Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities Proactive, motivated, and collaborative team player Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Fluent in written and spoken English Skills: Finance Accounting General Ledger Bank Reconciliation Cash Flow Financial Planning RCT
