About your new job as a Product Engineer:
* Support Lean New Product Introduction (NPI), both locally and globally, working closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to make sure products are designed, built, and delivered to Design for Manufacture, Test, and Compliance (DFT/DFC) standards.
* Manage configuration and design changes and control drawings through the Engineering Order (EO) process, from initial design to product phase-out.
* Assist the design team as needed with developing hardware or software requirements, supporting Design Verification Testing (DVT), product costing, reliability testing (e.g., Environmental Stress Screening), and design reviews.
* Help resolve material issues, including finding alternative components, handling Materials Review Board (MRB) decisions, and managing non-conformances, waivers, and excess/obsolete stock.
* Take technical ownership of the product after design release, handle customer-driven changes, and act as the main point of contact for resolving product issues.
What skill/experience you need as a Product Engineer:
* 3 years minimum experience
* Education: Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (minimum second-class honours) or equivalent
* Skills: Good understanding of electronic circuit functionality
* Desirable Experience:
* Product engineering
* Quality engineering
* Electronic/Electrical design engineering
