Great opportunity to join the out of hours service in the Limerick and Clare region in the south west of Ireland. This service is vital to the local area, with the doctor covering a standard out of hours contract. The doctor will cover 38 hours per week across evenings, nights weekends and Bank Holidays.
Full administration, nursing and triage support is provided to the Family Medicine doctor team, along with a driver for any home visit that may be required during coverage hours. This is one of the most progressive and forward thinking out of hours providers in Ireland, offering significant scope for personal development.
You will be managing a wide variety of family medicine cases including minor injuries, admissions to acute hospitals, respiratory conditions, psychiatric cases and all manner of non emergency pediatric cases.
The hired doctor will offer significant Family Medicine experience and have the ability to cover a mixed caseload and shifts across different clinic locations. You will be allocated to a core clinic, however
flexibility
is essential to move between clinics therefore a car owner and license to drive in Ireland is essential.
Preference will be given to doctors who hold the MRCGP (Int) qualification although all doctors with Family medicine experience in a Primary Care setting will be considered.

This is a full time permanent position and the clinic will arrange a critical skills employment permit to the successful applicants.
