Role Overview:
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs and maintaining the smooth running of our kitchen operations.
You will ensure the kitchen remains clean, organized, and fully stocked, helping us maintain the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Operate dishwashers and handle manual washing when required
Assist chefs with basic food preparation as needed
Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Support the kitchen team in day-to-day operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential (training provided)
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
