Operations Director

Overview:
The Operations Director will lead the daily operations of a production team ensuring the efficient, safe and on time delivery of products. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the production team to ensure that all products meet internal standards and customer expectations.
In this position you will be responsible for managing the production schedule, coordinating with cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements to enhance output, quality and overall production efficiency.
This is a full-time permanent position and you will be required to work on site in Dublin.

Responsibilities:
* Operational Excellence:
o Ensure all team members consistently follow company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
o Develop and implement process improvements to enhance output, quality and overall production efficiency.
* Production Oversight:
o Oversee daily production processes, ensuring alignment with customer delivery schedules and overall production targets.
o Collaborate with the Cleanroom Supervisor to meet production goals by providing direction and timely support.
* Workload Management:
o Assign daily tasks to team members, optimizing labor and resources to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
* Process Optimization:
o Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance output, quality and overall production efficiency.
* Issue Resolution:
o Investigate production-related issues promptly and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements:
·A Level 8 Bachelors Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Business.
·5-7 years experience management experience in a manufacturing environment is essential for this position.
·Experience in a biopharmaceutical/medical device/food environment would be preferred for this role.
