We are currently inviting applications for a Director of Food & Beverage to join our 4-star client property and lead the management team for Weddings/Events and Food & Beverage outlets.
This role is accountable for maintaining service and hygiene standards, as well as managing the total food & beverage sales budget across our outlets.
The successful candidate will oversee the department, ensuring ongoing training and development of all team members. Effective communication within the department and strong working relationships with other departments and senior management are essential.
Knowledge and experience in the following areas are essential:
* A minimum of 3 years managerial experience in award-winning 4/5-star hotel bars and restaurants.
* Experience in delivering 5-star hotel food and beverage standards.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
* Knowledge of the Alkimii system is preferred.

* A positive attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times.
* Self-motivated with good personal organization and team leadership skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Monitoring Food & Beverage gross profit margins monthly.
* Maximizing revenue through effective management of hotel operations across outlets.
* Managing departmental payroll costs.
* Organizing the efficient operation of all Food & Beverage outlets.
* Staff communication, training, mentoring, and development.
* Collaborating with Culinary and Operations teams for departmental development.
* Being a visible leader across outlets, coordinating and directing departmental managers.
* Working with Human Resources on recruitment, selection, and succession planning.
* Reviewing procedures, systems, and product development for continuous improvement.
