Staff Nurse – Infectious Diseases Unit, Ward GC – Raigmore Hospital
We are seeking a registered nurse with solid clinical experience who is motivated, caring, compassionate, and thrives in a fast‑paced setting. The unit is a 30‑bed unit caring for patients with infections and general medical conditions (18 infectious disease beds and 12 general medical beds). The role requires a team player with enthusiasm, commitment to high standards of care, excellent communication, clinical decision‑making skills, and confidence in managing acute medical patients, including IV medication and fluid administration.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
Additional Information For Candidates
Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
