BEFORE YOU APPLY: Please read the compensation information at the bottom of the pageWe are looking for a fully remote world-building producer for our Fantasy Universe project, responsible for project management, team support, quality assurance, and coordinating with the various departments that are working on our games, films, comics & more.THE UNIVERSE:All stories are set in the Soul Atlas Universe that we are building with 150+ creatives at the moment. In development are graphic novels, games, music, and motion-picture titles. It features stories about characters who struggle with disillusionment but, through a dangerous challenge, regain the ability to hope and see a new meaning in their lives (if they survive). One may encounter dragon chariots, mysterious magic, demon-controlled golems, secretive political intrigue, ill-begotten creeds, horse-powered airships, and many other fantasy themes.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate the worldbuilding department to support our various projects:Ensure all deadlines can be met (maintaining living documents, task allocation, scoping projects, debottlenecking, developing timelines, pipeline improvements)Facilitating communication between our various departments (art, fashion, music, etc.) and experts (military history, aviation, biology, etc.)Look for changes to the way we work that improve output qualitySupport and challenge the 5 members of the core team (providing clarity and timelines, organizing training and mentoring)Work with us to recruit additional expertsYOUR CAPABILITIESExperience with project management: Knowledge of systems e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, RACIs, SOP Optimization, Lean Six Sigma, or homebrew systems of reporting/accountabilityGood communicator: Able to run global teams (different accents, different time zones, different cultural backgrounds)Amazing support player: You listen well, find out what the team needs, and provide them with everything required for top performanceYou learn quickly: Getting up to speed with our strange ways of running thingsProfessional EnglishCOMPENSATIONTime Investment:Part-time. Approximately 10-15 hours/week (flexible week on week, as we understand you may have other commitments, more details during the interview). This includes usually 2-5 meetings, daily 15-20 min of texts and about 2-5 hours of work by yourself.Salary:At this point, there is no salary. We instead give parts of the company's profit away:Profit Participation:We have been working on a system to ensure either a fixed profit participation or ownership for all team members. Due to multiple legal challenges, it is not written in stone yet, but we have made significant progress (found vehicle, identified holding structure, FMV/BIK issue circumvented).
