OverviewSecurity Consultant - Venafi role for a leading financial services organisation. The consultant will support and enhance security architecture within a highly regulated environment. This is a daily rate contract position offering remote working with occasional office visits. 6 month initial contract.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the integration, configuration, and ongoing management of the Venafi platform across enterprise environmentsCollaborate closely with security and infrastructure teams to deliver certificate lifecycle management solutionsProvide technical expertise in certificate automation, encryption, and security complianceWork with stakeholders to define and implement PKI strategies aligned with business requirementsImprove processes for certificate issuance, renewal, and revocationEnsure best practices in key management and secure communications across platformsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to digital certificates and encryption technologiesProduce documentation and support knowledge transfer to internal teamsRequired ExperienceMinimum of 5 years\' experience in IT Security, with a strong focus on digital certificates and PKIProven hands-on experience with the Venafi platform in an enterprise environmentStrong understanding of security standards and compliance frameworksExperience working in highly regulated environments, ideally within financial servicesDesirable SkillsScripting experience (e.g. PowerShell, Python) for automationKnowledge of cloud security, particularly AWS and AzureExperience with TLS/SSL certificate lifecycle management and associated risk controlsUnderstanding of HSM integration and secure key storageEducationThird-level degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related disciplineAdditional InformationImmediate interviews with prompt start date available.Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restrictions.For more information, please contact Scott Hool in confidence.Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
