As a Relief Family Support Worker, you will provide in-home and community-based support to children with additional needs and their families.
The family support service will be coordinated by the Family Support & Respite Coordinators, who will prioritize families to be involved in the service.
* Providing flexible and adaptable support to meet the changing needs of each family
* Working closely with the Family Support & Respite Coordinator to ensure effective coordination of services
* Participating in regular meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Key requirements for this role include:
* Minimum QQI Level 5 Childcare course or Year 1 completed of a related degree programme (such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology) or SNA Qualification or a relevant health care qualification
* Access to transport
* Must be eligible to work in the state
