Job Description
McMahons Concrete Products is one of Ireland’s leading precast concrete manufacturers, located in Birdhill, Co. Tipperary.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Birdhill for a Health & Safety / Production individual.
The role involves risk assessments, implementing and monitoring health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with safety standards, training and coordinating day-to-day production operations and records that promote/maintain a safe and efficient work environment. The successful candidate will work closely with (& be supported by) the Management Team to promote safety best practices and production excellence.
Responsibilities
Working closely with the General Manager to meet production targets and logistical requirements
Supervision of production team on site.
Support management apply Safe Systems to work and day-to-day Health and Safety controls.
Co-ordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Additional training will be provided for the manufacture of our product range.
Required Experience
2+ years’ experience in a similar production/manufacturing environment.
Relevant Level 7 qualifications in Health & Safety or related fields.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
A strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment
Must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland.
