Accounts Administrator/Assistant Position at a Dublin-Based Company
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator/Assistant to join our team in Greenogue Business Park, Dublin. The role is part-time, with a flexible schedule of 5 mornings per week, 4 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing accounts payable and receivable
* Bank reconciliation and financial statement preparation
* Preparation of VAT/PAYE&PRSI returns and company vehicle taxation
* Collaboration with co-accountant in Northern Ireland for year-end accounts and HMRC payments
Skills and Competencies Required
* Experience with accountancy software (preferably Sage or Xero)
* Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
* Excellent numeracy and organisational skills
* Effective verbal and written communication
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years experience in an accounts administrative role
* Xero accounting systems experience is an advantage
