Site R&D Technologist Job Description
A leading food manufacturer in Co. Longford is seeking a Site R&D Technologist to scale new products and improve profitability.
Responsibilities:
* Recipe Development: Manage the development of new recipes to meet customer needs and preferences.
* Legislation Compliance: Ensure all food products comply with relevant legislation, including food safety regulations and labeling requirements.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and research and development departments.
Skill Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a degree in food-related fields, experience in recipe development, and a proactive approach to product formulation.
Preactive problem-solving skills are essential for this role as well as effective communication skills when working within multi-disciplinary teams.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ingredient functionality & flavor profiles so they can lead on existing our New Product Developments (NPD).
