Project Manager Civils Job Description
The primary goal of this position is to oversee the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design teams, to ensure that all project requirements are met.
* Develop detailed project schedules and resource plans to effectively manage the project timeline and personnel.
* Collaborate with the QS team to ensure accurate variation pricing and cost recovery for scope changes.
* Lead day-to-day coordination of crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of works.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and design teams to maintain transparent communication.
* Prepare and deliver regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a Degree (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
* Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a project management role within civil engineering or construction.
* Demonstrate success in delivering civil infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
* Proven experience managing utility-related works and road opening licenses (Purple Book).
* Experience working in environments with public lighting, EV charging, or sports lighting is advantageous.
* Hold relevant certifications, such as Safe Pass, PSCS SLG (Signing, Lighting & Guarding).
