My Client is a leading Irish Distribution within the home improvement space and due to continued growth are now looking for a
Warehouse Manager
to join the Business.
With head offices in Ireland and a larger operation in the UK ,my client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who can implement new ways of working and lead a Warehouse Team.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operations — including goods-in, order fulfilment, dispatch, and stock accuracy.
You'll play a key role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy while driving the use of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve visibility and performance across the business.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires excellent organisational, people management, and system skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including order fulfilment, goods receiving, and dispatch.
Maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse processes.
Oversee stock management through the company's Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded.
Train and support warehouse staff in the effective use of WMS scanning and tracking tools.
Lead and develop the warehouse team through clear communication, training, and regular performance reviews.
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, completing daily and weekly management checks.
Ensure equipment, forklifts, and racking are properly maintained and serviced on schedule.
Delivery on operational KPIs, including pick rates, order accuracy, and on-time delivery.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce cost.
Collaborate with the Commercial & Operations Manager on CapEx projects, layout optimisation, and process innovation.
What We're Looking For
3+ years' experience in a warehouse or logistics management role.
Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – experience with scanning, stock control, and reporting is essential.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Understanding of Health & Safety standards and compliance requirements.
Forklift license or relevant certification (advantageous).
