Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Food Service Assistant to join our team in Dromthacker, Ireland. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and enjoy a positive dining experience.Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient mannerProvide excellent customer service by anticipating and addressing guests' needs throughout their dining experienceCollaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely serviceMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas and food preparation zonesComply with all health and safety regulations, as well as specific food service guidelinesAssist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for various meal servicesHandle cash and credit card transactions accuratelyRespond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, concerns, or special requestsContribute to a positive and inclusive work environmentStay informed about menu items, daily specials, and any changes in food offerings to provide accurate information to guests
QualificationsGenuine passion for food service and customer satisfactionStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and challengesPhysical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periodsBasic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory countsAttention to detail in food presentation and maintaining cleanliness standardsKnowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesPrevious experience in food service or hospitality industry preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededPositive attitude and ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
