​ Group Company: ​ SIS Ireland Limited ​ Job Title: ​ Contracts Manager ​ Reporting to: ​ Operations & Sales Director ​ Reporting Responsibilities: ​ Site Supervisors, Site Operatives, Subcontractors ​ Location: ​ Home based but with requirement to travel nation-wide to installations sites as required. It should be noted that a significant proportion of time will be spent working away from home during the week and possibly at weekends at peak times. ​MAIN OBJECTIVESTo manage specialist civils and installation teams to construct all aspects of sports pitches.​To manage multiple projects from inception to completion and responsible for allocated project finances, procurement of plant and materials, procurement of subcontractors, health and safety, site management, labour planning, staff development and promoting quality.​RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES/ TASKS​Manage directly reporting staff/civils & installation teams ensuring personnel are allocated the correct resources and equipment in order to undertake job tasks.​Communicating with direct report staff and reporting to management team at every stage of project progress.​Communicating with clients and project managers, exceeding expectations in order to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.​Responsible in conjunction with Directors for labour planning on a weekly basis.Setting out sites, calculating groundwork levels, communicating this to staff and organising subcontractors.​Accountable for onsite information and procurement of every allocated project. Keeping all relevant project information up to date, i.e. drawings, H & S files, project instructions, staff training and staff organisation.​Monitoring and reporting of allocated projects by keeping Work in Progress reports up to date and issued. Constant staff monitoring to ensure staff have all required "tools" and information to carry out tasks. Monitoring quality of all associated work from inception to completion.​Evaluating all aspects of each project undertaken and issuing action plans where required to ensure continuous improvement.​Accountable for budget control and procurement of managed projects. Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best value is sourced and projected budgets are exceeded.​Ensuring all aspects of quality control are in line with company procedures, i.e. ISO 9001 and 14001, company H & S and CDM regulations. Along with quality control pf works in all aspects of the project's construction.​Responsible for ensuring all sites are safely managed in line with CDM regulations and company H & S policy/handbook. Ensuring all risk and method statements are issued for every aspect of site works where required and personnel are safely equipped with correct PPE and tools.​Development of project programmes to ensure all interested in parties are aware of site progress and plans, maintaining up to date project diaries. Identifying, designing out and problem solving of onsite issues where required to maintain project progression.​Assist in producing personal development/training plans to ensure skill sets are up to date expanding.
