Job Location: Limerick
Sector: Civil INFORM3 are recruiting for a Civil Engineer to work on heavy civil/bridge project in Limerick.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity for career progression with long-term work. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a large civil engineering contractor with over 50 years' experience and knowledge within the construction industry.
The client is seeking a candidate who is experienced in civil projects particularly bridges. Civil Engineer Job Requirements: Report into the Senior Engineer regarding site activityRegularly read and review site specifications and drawingsSet out the site accurately and effectivelyEnsure sub-contractors, labourers and site staff are managed through effective communication and coordinationCoordinate and control plant and material on siteUnderstanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implementedMaintain site diaries and paperworkConduct Toolbox Talks and Health & Safety BriefingsEnsuring all staff receive full site inductionsBe present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amendedComply with all Health and Safety policiesAssist in managing traffic on site Civil Engineer Job Specification: Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree1 - 4 years+ similar experience with top tier contractorSetting Out experience and knowledgeExtremely motivated and driven to succeedStrong numeracy skillsAble to use Microsoft OfficePrevious experience working on a variety of bridge/heavy civil projectsFull driving licenceThe client understands the value of quality staff, ensuring that they have put in place professional working practices and in return are looking for candidates that are self-motivated and who can deliver quality work.
