We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead modification programs in driving safety, quality and technical excellence using innovation and best practices to deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. We are looking for people who can work out of Dublin (Ireland)The successful candidate will be an integral part of our modification teams who develop, certify and integrate commercial aircraft modification solutions such as cabin interior changes, IFE upgrades and other changes. The candidate will be working directly with customers while collaborating with BGS global engineering and Programme Management teams across multiple time-zones.Position ResponsibilitiesLead technical teams in the design and certification of aircraft modificationsBe the primary technical focal in assigned modification projectsProvide technical support to the Project Manager/s assigned to the modification project/sWork closely with customers, outside vendors, MROs regulatory agencies and other teams within the company to create engineering solutions that exceed customer expectations on time and within budgetProvide independent advice to support the development of safe, compliant and practical solutions across all modification projectsIdentify key technical risks and mitigation strategiesSupport project ITCM, PDR and CDR meetingsChair technical review meetingsProvide status reporting on project healthManage project technical Risks, Issues and OpportunitiesSupport functional engineering managers in resource planning and assignmentOccasional domestic and/or international travel may be requiredRequired QualificationsBachelors degree or higher in an engineering disciplinePreferred Knowledge/ExperienceMinimum 5-years aviation/aerospace (or related) industry experienceKnowledge of commercial aircraft interiors is essentialAble to demonstrate a working knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements including (E)TSO, CS-25, CS-25, CFR Part 25 & Part 21J design organisationsAbility to work on multiple programmes with varying level of requirements efficiently and effectivelyA recognized aeronautical or engineering degreeMust be fluent in English both written and spokenThe Boeing benefits package goes above and beyond, focusing on your physical, emotional, financial and social well-being.
