As the friendly, welcoming face of our bar and restaurant, you will be responsible for providing our patrons with an outstanding dining experience and making them feel at home in our magnificent hotel.
Main Responsibilities
1. Ensure the efficient and professional operation of The Bar Restaurant with high guest satisfaction.
2. Follow procedures and service standards consistently to maintain professionalism within room service.
3. Perform all tasks swiftly to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining control and professionalism.
4. Develop product knowledge of drinks, food, and hotel services.
5. Clean designated areas and set tables to standard, ensuring linens are clean and undamaged.
6. Ensure table decorations and flowers meet standards.
7. Take guest orders accurately and process them correctly.
8. Serve beverages and food professionally and courteously.
9. Prepare and deliver orders efficiently, maintaining standards in timing and presentation.
10. Upsell hotel facilities to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue.
11. Clear tables promptly once guests have finished, with appropriate waiting time.
12. Present bills and process payments accurately according to procedures.
13. Monitor stock levels, control wastage, and manage perishable goods and breakages.
14. Communicate relevant information to colleagues and other departments.
15. Record guest feedback and report comments to the Head of Department.
16. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in work areas, equipment, appearance, and uniform.
17. Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
