Production Planning Expert
This is a fixed term contract role that will require onsite presence throughout the training period and a hybrid working model going forward.
The Production Planner is responsible for all activities related to production planning, demand/capacity management, plan governance, system parametrization, and inventory control.
Key responsibilities include reviewing alerts, identifying proposed changes, prioritizing orders, attending material supply meetings, participating in cross-site calls, and conducting weekly 'handshake' meetings with production schedulers.
The successful candidate will support monthly demand changes analysis, liaise with upstream/downstream supplying sites, manage resource capacity, and collaborate with production scheduling teams.
In addition, they will participate in weekly supply governance calls, track root causes, prioritize remediation actions, review/update system supply chain master data, monitor key planning metrics, and ensure inventory usage of network materials.
Requirements:
* BS/BA in Technical or Business field required (supply chain management, systems or industrial engineering); advanced degree a plus.
* Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent.
* Understanding of logistics and supply chain environment, process development, and ERP/advanced planning systems.
* Demonstrated analytical, strategic thinking/planning, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in an environment of competing priorities with concurrent deadlines.
* Ability to work in a complex matrix organization with strong teamwork orientation.
Preferred Qualifications:
* APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
