IT Manager – Role Profile
Based at DCC’s Head Office on Leopardstown Road, Foxrock, Dublin 18, the IT Manager will be a core member of the Group IT team. The role reports into the Group IT Business Partner and directs a dedicated team of two onsite administrators. The manager will oversee high‑quality IT services across the organisation, partnering with stakeholders to manage and enhance the IT infrastructure.

The Opportunity
This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders at all levels to deliver high‑quality IT services that underpin DCC’s critical operations. The IT Manager will have direct oversight of the managed service provider, ensuring high standards of service delivery and accountability.
Reporting Lines and Team Structure
The role is based at the Head Office on Leopardstown Road, Foxrock, Dublin 18. It reports to the Group IT Business Partner and manages two onsite administrators who support IT infrastructure for head‑office functions.
Key Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day IT operations – manage and support daily IT activities via the third‑party support provider, acting as a key escalation point and liaising with vendors to resolve user requests.
Vendor management – manage contracts and service‑level agreements with third‑party providers.
Azure administration – oversee configuration, optimisation and security of Azure cloud services, including user and resource management.
Networking – maintain and enhance the company’s networking infrastructure, VPNs, firewalls and global connectivity solutions.
IT compliance – ensure all IT practices comply with regulations and policies, maintaining documentation and supporting audits.
Treasury systems – support, maintain and secure treasury systems and related financial platforms.
Strategic IT planning – work with senior management to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals and identify technological improvements.
User support & training – provide technical support and training to staff, resolving issues promptly and ensuring high user satisfaction.
Local security officer – own the local security officer role for DCC head office.

The role is based in Dublin 18. Hybrid working arrangements may be considered. The office environment is collaborative, professional and closely integrated.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a proactive IT Manager with a strong background in Azure, networking and compliance, comfortable managing both day‑to‑day operations and strategic initiatives.
Minimum five years’ experience managing an IT environment and team.
Relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Professional certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, ITIL.
Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft O365 and Azure.
Strong infrastructure and networking skills.
Solid understanding of IT compliance and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Experience supporting and securing treasury or financial systems is highly desirable.
Experience in D365 F&O and Okta is highly desirable.
