You'll build innovative customer-centric applications, working with customers, engineers and security partners to develop features, author technical designs, and collaborate on product strategy.

Responsibilities
An SDE-II on the VisXP team uses their knowledge and skills to make quick decisions and executes them to meet the team's patching visibility goals with guidance from leadership.
Influence architecture and design efforts across the team, enhance current products, and develop new service offerings in support of AWS Security goals.
Work with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand the business and customer value of the team's software to ensure delivery of solutions that help achieve security goals.
Champion operational excellence by identifying and executing opportunities to improve the team's operations, enhancing customer experience, and earning trust; improve the stability, reliability, and performance of the service independently and with peers.
Mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and act as a technical escalation point for operational issues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
