Working proactively with Broker partners and Allianz Customer Relationship Executives you will ensure that our existing customers receive a best-in-class service from us. A key component of the role is underwriting renewal terms for SME customers. This process involves regular engagement with internal stakeholders in Customer, Pricing and Portfolio Management to ensure that we deliver against our GWP targets which support our overall growth strategy.Role ResponsibilitiesProfitably underwrite commercial, property and liability insurance submissions to achieve GWP targetsManage and develop relationships with intermediaries, within the team and with colleagues in other areas of the business.Oversee the end-to-end customer outcome of allocated renewals aligned to target KPI’sBalance speed of turnaround with technical requirements of the role to deliver on renewal retention targets.Engage with internal stakeholders in Sales and Distribution, Pricing and Portfolio management to negotiate terms and conduct detailed risk assessment and acceptance within existing Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) framework agreements.Contribute towards the growth strategy by sharing insights at the relevant foraShare knowledge and technical expertise with colleagues, contribute to personal and team technical developmentIdentify and implement improvements in process, proposition or service to best serve our customer baseEssential ExperienceA minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial insuranceAPA or relevant qualificationExperience in customer relationship management, achieving targets and technical underwritingDesirable ExperienceCIP or working towards ACIIExperience in a sales role in commercial or general insuranceProficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM system) and i90Regulatory NoticeThis role is subject to Minimum Competency Code (“MCC”) as provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland. A recognised insurance qualification may be required for this position. Appointment to this role will be subject to the requirements provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland. This role is a Control Function (CF- 4, 8) and is subject to F&P Standards. This includes the requirements provided for by the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023.
