Health and Safety Manager A Health and Safety Manager with 5+ years of civil engineering experience is required for a major infrastructure project in Cork. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a strong safety culture on-site. Ideal for a proactive Health and Safety Manager who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment. Role: Implement and monitor site-specific health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments. Conduct site audits and inspections and safety walkdowns to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards. Report and investigate all accidents, incidents, near-misses, and hazards ensuring follow-up actions are completed. Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and staff training. Promote behavioral safety and continuous improvement Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve safety issues promptly. Ensure proper use of PPE, machinery, and equipment in line with statutory requirements.
