Job Summary: Druid Software is seeking an experienced and driven Vice President of the Mining Vertical to lead our global growth strategy in this critical industry.
The successful candidate will spearhead engagement with major mining operators, OEMs, and ecosystem partners to position Druids Raemis core platform as the foundation for next-generation connectivity in mining, enabling automation, real-time asset tracking, worker safety, and operational efficiency in both surface and underground environments.
As Druid expands its leadership across key verticals, were looking for a visionary who is passionate about transforming Mining through private 5 G networks.
This is a rare opportunity to join a company of innovators at the forefront of private cellular technology and help shape the digital future of mining operations worldwide.
Deliverables include: Take ownership of the Mining vertical globally, developing and executing a strategic growth plan.
Identify and engage with key utility companies, OEMs, and system integrators across water, power, and gas sectors.
Maintain responsibility for achieving vertical-specific sales metrics.
Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to align offerings with market needs and regulatory requirements in the Mining domain.
Contribute to the development of targeted vertical marketing collateral and go-to-market strategies.
Educate internal stakeholders on Mining trends and use cases to ensure consistent and informed messaging.
Develop high-value relationships with industry bodies, analysts, and ecosystem partners.
Guide the creation of solution briefs, case studies, and sales enablement tools focused on the utility market.
Key performance Indicators for the role: Revenue growth and market penetration in the Mining vertical.
Delivery of sales targets aligned with corporate objectives.
Establishment of new partnerships and strategic alliances.
Conversion of qualified opportunities into successful deployments.
High customer satisfaction and account retention metrics.
Essential Criteria: A minimum of five years experience selling or delivering technology solutions into the Mining sector.
College degree or relevant qualification in engineering, IT, or business.
Demonstrated understanding of mission-critical operations in Mining and how private 4 G/5 G enhances reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Proven ability to articulate and present complex value propositions to technical and executive audiences.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-starter with a passion for vertical market development.
Results-driven and highly collaborative team player.
Demonstrable list of key contacts in the mining industry Desirable Criteria Track record of success working with large Mining or system integrators in the sector.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and operational frameworks in critical infrastructure industries.
Experience in developing joint go-to-market strategies with technology partners.
Understanding of the private cellular network industry and its impact on the digital utility transformation.
Ability to navigate long, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
