Production Equipment Europe is a leading industrial distributor supplying over 90,000 products to a wide portfolio of customers.
We are currently looking for a Sign Making Operative to join our Signs Team.
Responsibilities:
* Work in a busy workshop and manufacturing environment.
* Be part of a proactive team, producing high quality finished product based on customer requirements and deadlines
* Regular operation of a range of equipment including wide format printers, vinyl cutters, digital cutter and laminators
* Create and apply vinyl decals and print graphics on various materials
* Input into efficient and effective operations of the Signs department
* Ensure workshop is kept clean and tidy.
Skills & Experience:
* Background in manufacturing and assembly operation
* Basic IT Skills in excel/work/outlook is desirable
* Be creative and have good attention to detail
* Hands on experience in a semi-skilled role
* Ability to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
* Experience with sign making is a distinct advantage
* Be able to offer input into improving processes and operations of the department
* Excellent communication skills.
