Wicklow39 hours per week - PermanentSalary starting from €71,793.00 per annumJob reference: FM_NTMK_0710Since first opening our doors in 2005, Autism Initiatives Ireland has provided specialist autism services for adults across our Residential, Respite, Day, and Community Support Services.Our vision statement voices our expectation that through supportive action people with autism can learn, develop and be enabled to have a sense of ownership over their own lives.Our aim is to positively work alongside autistic people, their families and carers in providing specialist individually tailored services for all to thrive from.In recent years we have successfully expanded our services throughout Dublin, Kildare, Wexford and Wicklow and continue to seek out opportunities where we can offer assistance and value.Given the significant role our team play in the lives of those we support our recruitment is focused on individuals willing to go the extra mile.Whether it's helping the people we support to live independently, enjoy a better quality of life, or play a more active role in their communities our team always strives to deliver the best service possible.The successful candidate will be afforded all necessary training and development in line with the role, including a detailed induction before joining the service.Qualifications required:Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Business/Management or Economics) is essential (or relevant qualification received outside the state recognised by NARIC equivalent to Irish level 8).Full membership with recognised professional body (i.e. CAI, ACCA, CIMA etc.).Master's degree i.e. MSc Finance, MBA desirable.Skills/Abilities required of a Finance ManagerMinimum five years post qualification experience managing a Finance Department or Team.Experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts.Preparation of annual statutory accounts to the level required by external auditors and statutory bodies.Experience of managing payroll for 200+ staff.Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise key project.Ability to engage with key stakeholders and provide necessary guidance.Ability to lead a team and maintain a cohesive working environment.Strong technical accounting skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to spot trends and anomalies in financial data.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Proven management skills with ability to manage resources.Proactive individual that identifies, resolves or escalates issues as required.Flexible individual with an awareness of change and an ability to adapt with changing circumstances.Full, clean driver's licence desirableScheduleThe successful candidate will be based in Newtownmountkennedy, Co.
