The Opportunity
We’re looking for aProject Delivery Engineer with a strong electrical background to help shape the future of energy infrastructure in Ireland. This is a hybrid role based in either Limerick or Dublin.
In this position, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of Behind-the-Meter energy infrastructure projects,including battery storage systems and onsite generators, at large commercial and industrial client sites.
We’re looking for someone with proven experience delivering complex energy or electrical projects. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re self-motivated, commercially astute, and experienced in procurement, electrical design, and stakeholder management.
What You’ll Do
* Lead end-to-end project delivery, from initial concept through to commissioning and handover.
* Manage procurement activities, including supplier selection, tendering, and contract negotiation.
* Conduct site visits, evaluate project feasibility, and develop high-level technical solutions.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
* Manage budgets, track profitability, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
* Oversee compliance, quality, and health & safety across all project phases.
* Support business development with technical input on bids, tenders, and proposals.
* Develop internal frameworks and processes to enhance project delivery capabilities.
* Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
* Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and alignment with commercial terms.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Minimum of 8 years' experience in electrical, energy, or infrastructure project delivery.
* Strong electrical engineering background with hands-on experience in industrial/commercial settings.
* Demonstrated strength in procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier engagement.
* Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Desirable:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* A Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
