Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and service level agreements (SLAs).
* Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
* Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with internal teams to assess vendor needs and streamline procurement processes.
* Conduct market research to identify new vendor opportunities and industry trends.
* Handle disputes and issues with vendors, ensuring prompt resolution.
* Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, agreements, and performance metrics.
* Ensure vendor compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
* Report on key vendor metrics and suggest improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in transport, logistics, vendor management, procurement, or supply chain roles.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in vendor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships effectively and work cross-functionally.
