Our client is a fast-growing health and wellness company based in Dublin, focused on delivering premium nutritional products across Ireland, the UK, and international markets. They are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join the Supply Chain team. This is a hands-on role and you will be the lead on all quality processes, audits, documentation, and product investigations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring continuous improvement.
* Conduct audits of third-party manufacturers and key suppliers.
* Manage product complaints, non-conformances, and investigations.
* Write, review, and manage SOPs and quality documentation.
* Conduct incoming material checks and maintain traceability records.
* Review and approve product specifications, labels, and artwork.
* Coordinate internal and external product assessments and shelf-life evaluations.
* Analyse supplier test data (analytical & microbiological) to support batch release.
* Liaise with external laboratories, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies as needed.
* Lead quality-related aspects of product recalls or withdrawals.
* Provide clear and timely reporting on quality KPIs to senior management.
* Support new product development and reformulation in collaboration with regulatory bodies.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
* 3+ years’ experience in a quality or compliance role in FMCG, healthcare, or food sectors.
* Proven experience working with QMS, SOPs, and product compliance documentation.
* Experience managing external audits and dealing with contract manufacturers.
* Degree in a scientific discipline is a plus (e.g. Food Science, Chemistry, Biology).
* Knowledge of national and international quality regulations (e.g. food, healthcare, FMCG).
