About the Role
You will be a senior role model, championing best practice in Infection Control and providing expert clinical guidance to the multi-professional team.
As part of this key leadership position, you will develop staff across the organisation using education and training resources to promote continuous improvement and foster a culture of openness, collaboration, and effective communication.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead Infection Control practice across the hospital
* Audit and assess infection control practices at ward and departmental level making evidence-based recommendations for improvement
* Monitor infection risks rates and trends reporting outcomes to the Infection Control Committee
Promoting Excellence:
* Investigate manage outbreaks of infection advising on appropriate actions in partnership with experts
Becoming an Expert:
Liaise closely with colleagues, educate support regularly update staff on relevant policies procedures emerging issues Educational Opportunities Available: Higher Diploma in Infection Control (Desirable).
