We’re looking for a strong Engineering Program Manager with a solid track record of building and driving sophisticated software strategies, tools, and processes that deliver new end-to-end experiences that delight customers. We're looking for people with the ability to ship software & platforms for complex, customer-facing and internal analytics products under demanding timelines. This is a hands-on position where the Program Manager will be involved in requirements analysis, functional and technical design discussions, testing, proofs-of-concept, and more. This is not a task-based job; you will be responsible for successful outcomes and delivery.

Description
Provide Agile program management for internal services and platforms supporting data engineering pipelines managing high-volume data for App Store, Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, and other internal teams.
Support agile development of strategic new platforms, connecting functions from data ingestion through to data querying & visualization in applications or reports, while also managing customer and engineering transition from legacy systems and tooling.
Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent projects including scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation, stakeholder management, communications, and risk assessments, both within the team and with multiple different project partners.
Collaborate and coordinate across Engineering, Analytics, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, Service Reliability Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and other organizations to run services and platforms supporting internal and external customers and application use cases for analytics data.
Minimum Qualifications
* Expertise in the software development lifecycle and Agile program management in complex environments.
* Familiarity with data engineering (from ingestion to aggregation) and associated infrastructure (e.g. data storage, query services, data access patterns).
* Experience running distributed services in virtualized environments (e.g. Kubernetes) and building platforms that consist of service APIs used by multiple partners.
* Confident understanding of SQL is a plus and passionate about the role of scalability, efficiency, quality, and data governance in analytics.

* High emotional intelligence and strong facilitation skills to successfully lead conversations with analytics stakeholders, engineering management, enterprise technology partners, and other teams, in order to drive a complex, cross-functional, and comprehensive project plan.
