We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our IT team, focusing on the critical infrastructure supporting our Mobile Device Management (MDM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) platforms. MDM, ITAM, and Software Distribution are the key platforms that play a critical role in keeping devices secure, accurately managed, and equipped with the right tools for Apple employees to do their best work. Our goal is to make the technology invisible so that everyone can focus on doing the work they love to do. As the demand for our services continues to grow rapidly, we are building a team capable of serving Apple's needs at a global scale. We handle very large numbers of devices (macOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and visionOS) and support a wide variety of business units with unique needs that these services can solve for, including new opportunities to grow through the use of AI tools.

In this role, you will be part of a team who are instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure on‑premise systems that power our enterprise's device lifecycle and asset tracking. You will leverage your knowledge in modern DevOps practices, container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and database management to ensure high availability, performance, and efficiency of our core services. This role offers significant ownership, growth, and impact. You will work in a collaborative environment with experienced engineers, receive ongoing feedback, and have opportunities to influence technical direction. Minimum Qualifications
* Experience with building and scaling core components of Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems
* Experience managing cloud platforms (AWS) including compute, networking, and storage services
* Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases) and microservices architecture and event‑driven systems.
* Experience with monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) and performance tuning
Preferred Qualifications
* B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
