Job Details:Job Description: Successful candidates will be a member of the IRL Quality & Reliability (Q&R) Group. Your primary responsibilities will be measuring and reporting on Fab quality, generating and implementing Fab Quality improvement programs, and leading Quality Meetings and Quality Improvement Teams. Develops, applies, and maintains quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished product. Evaluate the materials, process and techniques used in production to meet the requirement of products and production equipment. Specifies inspection and testing mechanism, conduct quality assessment (up to and including audits) and perform statistical analysis to determine the responsibility for products and systems that do not meet required specifications. Delivers standardization in product qualification, manufacturing quality systems and methods. Provide feedback to Business Unit, Technology Development and/or partner engineering group on design or method and statistical process control procedures including manufacturing systems in High Volume Manufacturing.Develops new acceleration techniques, analytical tools and quality screens to assure the early identification of potential problems with new products, packaging, processes, and product quality. Responds to customer requests or events as they occur.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Role-models Intel Quality Values as described in the Company Quality PolicyOwn Reporting Fab/Factory Line Yield at the appropriate site meetingsOwn Measuring and reporting on Fab quality by using the company defined Quality MetricsEngage with all levels of the organization to proactively identify Quality risk areas and help lead teams to implement roadmap solutionsEngage with all levels of the organization to ensure excursion response systems are being followed appropriately and take an active role in enabling the sameEngage with company counterparts to share learning's and implement best known methods, including implementing Fab Quality improvement programsIdentify and drive hard fixes for repeat Quality issues that impact your factory and also downstream customersChampion Quality program(s) and Quality system(s) improvements to reduce & prevent excursionsLead Factory Quality Meetings, driving agenda items based on the Quality Metrics and factory Risks, as well as Proactive programs to reduce Quality events and mitigate risksQualifications:Candidate will have a BS degree in physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, material science, other related field, or several years of experience in leading Quality programs within and across a production environment. Candidate will have a strong knowledge of how Production module and manufacturing systems operate, and they will be recognised as a Quality Leader in a prior position.Experience in a manufacturing and engineering operational quality systems, Automation systems and factory level project management is also desirable.
