Automation Equipment Specialist
The main objective is to provide support for both new and existing manufacturing equipment with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement to achieve production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Documentation: Developing detailed specifications design development, and testing documentation for new equipment and automated systems.
* System Knowledge: Acquiring expertise in various automation systems including PLCs, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc., HMIs, vision systems, robotics, PC software, and databases.
* Troubleshooting: Analyzing, understanding, and fault-finding complex automated equipment.
* Code Management: Developing, testing, and installing code changes to existing equipment under strict change control procedures maintaining comprehensive documentation to medical device standards.
* Project Management: Participating in cross-functional teams to ensure projects, including new product introductions, and equipment upgrades are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
* Optimization: Identifying and implementing equipment and system upgrades as part of continuous improvement programs using metrics like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to drive optimum performance.
* Compliance: Ensuring compliance with EHS environment health and safety standards, and all quality system requirements.
