Key Responsibilities
* Structural design of buildings
* Engagement with clients, design teams, and local authorities for project delivery
* Manage design outputs to meet quality, timelines, and budgets
* Assist in procurement for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
* Construction monitoring and reporting
* Ensure compliance with RPS procedures and quality standards
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Level 8), with a Masters preferred
* At least 4 years of relevant experience in building structural design
* Chartered or near-chartered status
* Proficiency with Eurocodes
* Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills
* Experience with structural analysis and modeling software (Robot, Tekla, Tedds, Masterseries)
Desired Attributes
* Experience working in a collaborative BIM environment
* Experience with multidisciplinary teams and project management
* Knowledge of building regulations, Irish/UK markets, and structural surveying
