Join OUTsurance Ireland – We’re Hiring a Bodily Injury Claims Advisor!
Are you an experienced injury claims handler ready to take the next step in your career? If you’re passionate about delivering fair outcomes, navigating complex injury claims, and providing an outstanding customer experience, this could be the role for you.
At OUTsurance Ireland, we’re building a claims team that sets the benchmark for quality in the Irish insurance market. We’re focused on doing things the right way — through efficient processes, strong technical decision-making, and a customer-first mindset.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Bodily Injury Claims Advisor to manage a portfolio of motor-related personal injury claims, from first notification through to settlement. You will be responsible for assessing liability and quantum, progressing claims through the Personal Injuries Resolution Board (PIRB) process, and handling litigation claims where necessary — always aiming for fair, timely, and defensible outcomes.
This is a full-time, on-site role based at our offices in Cherrywood, Dublin.
* Manage a portfolio of bodily injury claims, from first notification to final settlement.
* Assess liability, quantum, and legal exposure on injury claims.
* Progress claims through the PIRB process and beyond where necessary (e.g., litigation management).
* Engage with solicitors, medical experts, and service providers to secure necessary evidence.
* Identify early settlement opportunities to deliver fair outcomes and reduce claim lifecycles.
* Provide excellent customer communication throughout the claims journey.
* Assist with the development and enhancement of injury claims procedures and best practices.
* Maintain compliance with OUTsurance standards, the Central Bank of Ireland’s Consumer Protection Code, and all applicable regulations.
What We’re Looking For
* 3+ years' experience handling bodily injury claims (motor liability focus preferred).
* 5+ years overall claims handling experience (motor preferred).
* Familiarity with the Irish personal injury landscape and the PIRB process.
* Proven ability to manage both litigated and non-litigated injury claims.
* APA (Accredited Product Adviser) qualification is essential (MCC compliant).
* Strong technical and negotiation skills, with a practical and solutions-oriented mindset.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A team player who takes ownership of outcomes and shows strong attention to detail.
* Be part of Ireland’s newest and fastest-growing insurer, backed by a leading international insurance group.
* Join a team that’s focused on quality claims handling, not volume or tick-box processes.
* Work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your expertise will be valued from day one.
* Career development opportunities as we continue to grow, including future specialization in areas like litigation management, complex claims, or technical leadership.
* Competitive salary package and benefits.
