Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Director, Consulting Services Sales. This key role will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our consulting services within the Sustainability Industry.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in complex sales environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to pursue new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers and economic buyers of consulting services at assigned accounts.
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities to drive a robust sales pipeline.
* Develop and implement relationship building activities with service and industry teams, client engagement teams, and marketing resources.
* Lead account and relationship management, new business, renewals, cross sales, and growth initiatives within assigned accounts.
* Assist in proposal development, focusing on value propositions, key differentiators, and win themes critical to clients.
* Establish, monitor, and revise lead generation plans and activities.
* Monitor and report on sales activities, client feedback, and market trends.
* Represent the company at conferences and industry events.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, or equivalent experience.
* At least ten years of experience selling professional services in complex sales environments.
* Proven experience in driving professional services sales through hunting and relationship building.
* Ability to excel in dynamic environments and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
* Familiarity with the industry, regional market, and key players is essential.
* Prior experience in environmental resource management and sustainability consulting services is preferred.
