Working within a Tier 1 construction environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing costs, contracts and commercial reporting while ensuring value is delivered at every stage. This is a key role supporting project delivery and client satisfaction on complex, large-scale projects.ResponsibilitiesProvide cost management, measurement and valuation of M&E packages throughout project lifecyclesPrepare, review and negotiate contracts and subcontracts for M&E worksMonitor project budgets, forecasts and cash flow to ensure financial controlAssess and process interim valuations, variations, final accounts and claimsLiaise with project managers, design teams and subcontractors to ensure commercial objectives are metSupport procurement strategies for M&E subcontractors and suppliersMaintain accurate records, reports and cost analyses for internal and client reportingEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies and relevant legislationContribute to risk management processes and identify opportunities for cost savingsCollaborate with wider project teams to support successful delivery of quality, safety and programme outcomesExperienceProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on mechanical and electrical packagesStrong commercial knowledge of contracts, procurement and cost management within constructionExperience on large-scale projects in sectors such as commercial, infrastructure, life sciences, technology or data centres is desirableFamiliarity with M&E systems, drawings and technical specificationsTrack record of managing subcontractors and suppliers effectivelyExcellent numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage workload across multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsDegree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related fieldChartered status (RICS or equivalent) is desirable but not essentialStrong IT skills with proficiency in cost management software, Excel and reporting systemsKnowledge of construction contracts such as NEC and JCTOngoing professional development in M&E or construction commercial management will be supportedAdditional InformationCompetitive salary26 days annual leave plus additional company daysPension and benefitsUnlimited learning and development opportunitiesMuch moreOur People and Recruitment CommitmentAt Sisk Group our people are at the heart of our success.
