OverviewThis elegant luxury four star hotel in Co Wicklow is a preferred destination for both business and leisure guests. They now seek a Director of Sales to develop, drive and execute the hotel’s Sales & Marketing Plan, thus achieving all annual revenue and profitability targets. This role will also be responsible for leading and managing the Sales department and driving a sales culture throughout the wider hotel team.ResponsibilitiesConduct on the road sales calls with existing & potential clientsDevelop and deliver a Sales & Marketing Plan in conjunction with the Director of HospitalitySource, develop and secure new business and nurture existing business (including international markets)Demonstrate strong leadership, motivational and training skillsImplement revenue, selling and negotiation strategiesUse sales data and property management systems and a good knowledge of Digital MarketingMaintain a strategic view and good understanding of the hospitality businessOwn transport essential as this role is on the road on sales calls three days a weekQualificationsMinimum of three years in a senior sales role with experience overseeing C&E and Reservations/Revenue departmentsStrong exposure to and familiarity with the wedding marketExcellent communication and organisational skillsAn understanding of revenue, selling and negotiationFor further details on this dynamic role, get in touch with us today!
